This is the case because the Black Pearl is such a firm mushroom the texture brings real meat to mind. This recipe also works well with King oyster mushrooms.
This is a great recipe for vegetarians or people who want to cut down on their meat consumption. + 500 g Black Pearl mushrooms
+ 1 dl BBQ grill oil
Cut a creases in the mushrooms. Cutting in a diamond pattern is recommended.
Add the mushrooms to a bowl.
Add 1 dl of grilloil to the bowl and massage the oil into the mushrooms by hand. For the recipe we used Santa Marias Allround grill oil. But you can use other brands or mix your own grill oil.
Let the mushrooms soak in the oil for a couple of minutes.
Grill the mushrooms on high heat. Flip the mushrooms after 5 minutes and continue grilling for 5 more minutes.
